Bought the Kahr P40 as a blem. Can’t say I found anything obviously wrong with it. Gun looks great and so has shot flawlessly.
Only issue was with me not being use to the bar/dot sights. So was shooting low till I found the sweet spot.
Great gun at a great price. What more can you ask for. I Love Buds.

This is a no nonsense piece of hardware that appears well made given that it’s polymer framed. It’s definitely on the light weight side for the 40 S&W cartridge. So far I’ve only fired the first 50 rounds of the recommended 200 for break-in but those were quite enough, even with shooting gloves. In my first box, it seemed reluctant to load the first round from the 7 round clip and I had one FTE/stovepipe. The white dot over white dot standard sight system seems effective in bright sun. I’ve no experience in low light. My shooting was offhand at 7 yards so I can’t comment on accuracy other than to say it appeared to shoot low. Field stripping is straight forward. The recoil spring is mighty stiff and it took some patience to get it reinstalled the first time. Overall, I’m pleased I bought it and I plan to carry it once I’ve completed the full break-in. I did order the Versacarry IWB holster offered in the box but I haven’t yet received it.
