Not quite impressive on the product. After receiving the gun, I found a couple of pretty big dents on the stock, which is obviously coming from inspection overlook by the manufacturer of HOWA. So no more "free floating". But the hardware is still fine, except for the safety, which is a piece of thin and coarse metal. When I switch the safety on and off, my finger hurts. It took me about one month before a decent gun was present in front of me: Buds paid one way shipping to HOWA or Legacy for the replacement of the stock; HOWA or Legacy shipped back to me for free. Buds's customer service has been very nice and responsive. Of course, it wasn't Buds's fault. It was the manufacturer that is to blame. No more purchase from HOWA or of any Jap's made weapons. I've had it.

Just picked up my rifle from my FFL dealer in pristine condition. What a beautiful rifle, silky smooth action, solid frame, smooth trigger, and it looks like a thousand dollar rifle. I really like the look, fell, and weight of the Hogue overmolded stock too. Bud's purchase transaction was awesome, shipping was ungodly fast, and I can't wait to get the rifle out to test fire it. I plan to break it in as instructed by Howa. I expect that the rifle will perform as expected based on all of my research. I might just need another one of these rifles, lol.
