Great pistol! The pistol itself is very nicely put together. Slide to frame fit is very nice and lockup is consistent, resulting in repeatable accuracy. Also, it is very comfortable, both in hand and while firing. Initially, I had concerns that the smooth front strap and grips would be issues while firing hot rounds. Actually, I never once noticed an issue gripping this in 300 rounds A few things I'd like to mention for a potential buyer: First, don't expect your first couple mags to go well. The springs are very tight and need a minute to break in some. Second, this pistol loves oil. It needs to run wet- the oil that comes with it is very good. One thing I wish was better is the case it comes in. It's a flimsy, fabric zip case. It's not terrible, but not great either. To be honest though, you're not buying this thing for the case anyway. Overall- I really like this gun. It's fun and different and quite impressive! Thanks again Buds

Bud's was perfect as usual. The Coonan is by far my favorite pistol that I own. It's a fun shooter. Just be sure to keep it lubed up and run quality ammo through it. Such as Magtech or Federal Ammunition. 158 grain.
