I got this on Saturday. Beautiful rifle and shoots well. I had to push the rear sight a little to zero it. I’m going to put a scope on it. Would definitely recommend. So much fun to shoot. I put about 300 rounds through it with no hiccups. I used 40 grain Aguila super extra.

It shoots good, but Ruger's quality has gone downhill on 10/22's and other firearms over the years. The action sounds like sandpaper on metal. My Grandpa and Dad's old ones are my go to's.

I've never owned a 10/22 and always wanted to. I had to go for a wood stock and 22 inch barrel for my first one and this version is beautiful. I'm glad I ordered when I did because it was out of stock shortly after. I mounted my scope and sling on it, took it out to the range, and it shot flawlessly with 3 types of ammo I put through it. I plan on hunting with this gun and I can't wait to get out there. Awesome 10/22. Highly recommended.

Five stars for Bud's that they had this model 10/22 in stock , good price, and quick delivery. Five stars for Ruger too, accuracy was right on straight out of the box. This model is the rifle version of the 10/22 not the carbine. The 22 inch barrel has a longer sighting plane, moves the noise further from the shooters ears and is a bit safer to handle. This rifle handles standard velocity ammo with no problem, its a well made rifle you will enjoy very much.
