this thing is a heavy monster so be prepared. but that being said i love it.

This gun is the best Tommy gun I've ever owned. It's about the same weight the muzzle brake made the difference in handing the kick. It cycles faster than my other two. This is a solid baby. I give it 4 1/2 star's

Good looking Thompson was very impressed with the functionality of this no recoil to speak of due to the 16 inch barrel had a few hiccups with feeding chalked it up to being new & tight after a few rounds it performed much better, have this in it's own display case on the wall in my den great conversation piece! I had a 1927 Deluxe several years ago so I expected this thing to be built like a tank. It is. Came with a nice hard case labeled with 'Chicago Typewriter'. Put about 50 rounds through it with nothing but a couple break-in hiccups. It's heavy so there is very little kick, and it seems quiet compared to shooting .45ACP out of a 1911. Very cool collector piece. I only wish it came with a bigger magazine, which are all expensive and kind of hard to get at this time. Highly recommended otherwise!

Looking to buy the Harley Davidson equivalent in a firearm, well you have arrived. The carbine is all metal and wood and when they say its 13Lbs, their not exaggerating. This is not tech from the 50's. it's from the 19 teens. Resting it on your hip and shooting underhand will be the norm till you get use to the weight. Surprising accuracy for a .45 and no recoil to speak of this Thompson is something that is built to become a family heirloom.

Weapon arrived at my FFL having been damaged in shipping. I called Bud's and the return, and replacement, was handled without issue. I'm very pleased with the weapon and Bud's fast and courteous response.

It was unbelievable how fast this thing came to my FFL dealer, I had ordered it on the 24th and it came in on the 25th, I am very happy with this Thompson, I have always wanted one and now that I have one, I will getting some extras for it as well as more ammo, I will be doing future business with Buds.

I purchased this gun a few weeks ago. It took about a week to arrive at my FFL but I was trying to be patient as they have not had this gun in stock for a long while and this has been the best price I have found it anywhere. When I first picked up the gun you could tell, this was the real deal. It was 13 pounds, without the clip full so you could tell you were holding a well built gun. The gun came with a great carrying case with "Thompson" in yellow cursive on the top....case was so big it barely fit in the backseat of my car ! It was very tight right out of the box and even after I Froglubed it up real good. However once I got to the range and ran a box of 230 gr .45 cal through it, it loosed up a bunch. I was very pleased with the performance. I specifically wanted the 30 round stick as I have heard issues about the 50/100 drum mags not feeding well and I was not disappointed as I ddi not have a single issue & the gun preformed flawlessly. I was shooting at 50 yards away and hitting the target 9 out of 10 times just eyeballing it. Very solid gun and makes an excellent add to my collection. I have a Hi-Point .45 carbine and a Taurus .45 pistol to go along with this rilfe tha shoots .45 and I absolutely love it. Thanks to Bud's for the quality transaction, they never disappoint me. Now about 10 of my friends want to get one after seeing my gun.
