I ordered this barrel from Buds for my Mossberg 500. The shipping was lightning fast and the barrel came new in the package just as discribed. It needed a good cleaning but looks and fits perfect. If you have a Mossberg 500/Maverick 88 and dont have an 18.5 inch barrel already, do yourself a favor and pick one up. You wont regret it. Thank you Buds for making this a great experience. 3 days ago i bought a mossberg 18.5 security barrel from buds for my 500. 3 days , that was really fast. I had one on backorder at P.O. , it was on back order for 8 (thats right i said 8) months. I cancelled the order! So , like i said . . . 3 days ago , i ordered from buds. It fits like a glove and with the heat sheild , it looks like an old cop riot gun. THANK YOU BUDSGUNSHOP.COM.

    it does not have interchangeable chokes it is a fixed cylinder bore (no choke) this one does not have the Breacher device on the barrel
