I've already ordered 1 clip that said it fit the 30.06 Springfield, but it was too long for my Browning 1959 30.06. Will this 1 work? I was told the clip for my rifle needs to be pre 1993.

Thanks for the feed back. My dad bought the rifle in Belgium while he was in the Air Force. The only number on it is 69368 M9. I was told the "M9" meant the year of manufacture. He retired in 1963 so it was bought in 1949 or 1959. It's a BAR and I'm assuming bought in 1959. Thanks again.
