Everything with this transaction went very well. The Anschutz 1712 arrived right on time. The rifle has a very nice walnut stock with the grain running in a very desirable direction. The fit and finish of the wood and metal are excellent. After cleaning, degreasing and setting up the 2 stage trigger, I was ready to head to the range. The 2 stage trigger requires some skill and a good trigger scale to set up properly. If you are not familiar with Anschutz triggers find yourself a qualified gunsmith. After attaching a 20X scope and bore sighting, I sighted in. Then I fired three 5 shot groups at 50 yards using Eley club ammo. The groups measured .440, .390, and .372 inches. I'm sure the gun will shoot better than this with match ammo. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Expected a better finish and wood for over 2k. 2stage trigger experience was good. Shot it like I shoot my other 22lr off a bi-pod, it shot well, but not that much better than my 452. Quality rifle but expensive, i think that these rifles are overrated. It boils down to this, if you have that kind of money laying around great if not reconsider reviewing others that are half the price and just as good if not better. Also it only comes with one 5 round magazine, for this kind of expense it should have come with at least three! The magazines are over sixty five dollars each, that’s criminal!

Very satisfied with rifle. Beautiful stock, trigger is excellent. Very accurate!! Money well spent !!!!
