First and last Rossi, not at all accurate with a collection of different ammo and bullet weights. Seemed decently made, however not a big fan of a top ejector for this replica type not Rossi fault more mine for ordering it. Sold to a friend and bought a Henry which is an awesome gun.

Just got the gun and so I can't reply as to how it shoots, however I have owned several in the past and expect this one to shoot as well as the last few I've had. The fit and finish on this rifle is Much better than the past ones I've had, the finish is perfect. The action is much better and it loads perfectly smooth. I tried a few rounds to see if it would function(put some PMC truncated loads in it to try) and they run through as though they are not there. The wood is excellent also, I love the look and feel of this gun!

The overall fit and finish was good. It has a slight gap between the receiver and stock, but not very big or noticeable. The guns action was a little gritty/stiff as expected from previous reviews elsewhere. I cleaned all the grease and gunk out with break cleaner and lubed it with some oil. It fired and functioned flawlessly so far. After test firing I used some liquid graphite (gunslick) on all the moving parts and cycled the action about 50 times. The graphite is a really nice way to smooth things up on the action. I did not like the safety as well, but that is also common for the new Rossi guns now produced. It is not a show grade gun, but if you want a good reliable rifle to use in the field where it will be handy and powerful I would not hesitate to buy it.
