I have been trying to purchase a Rossi R92 in SS with a 20" barrel in 357 for 8 months and there is no availability. I asked when and was told soon ...in December, February, April, May, and now in June. Does anybody have a firm idea when this rifle will become available for purchase?

There likely won't be a definitive answer here in the community. Best bet is to put it on your wishlist if you haven't already and buds will email you when they get it. Hope that helps!

Bud's places their orders with the manufacturers, then they wait for the firearms to arrive. There could be any number of issues that have arisen. Call customer service and ask if they still plan to carry this item. If they say, "Yes", then add it to your wishlist and wait.

It is very hard to tell but I think it shouldn't be too long. I'd add it to your wishlist so you'll get notified right away as soon as it does get in. I searched and did not see anything that should delay stock too much.

There is no way of knowing when an item will become available. The only thing you can do if add it to your wish list. When it comes in Bud's will notify you that it is available for purchase. If you really want it, do not hesitate at that point as others may have been waiting also and on hand qualities may be very limited. Best of luck.

Finish good on stainless, wood finish fair, quality of milling stock poor fit, operation moderately smooth. Nice shooting, comfortable easy carry and load. Nice gun to multipurpose use on a ranch with daily use.

This is a great rifle. Definitely one of my favorites. It was spot on at 100 yds right out of the box. I did do a bit of slicking up and polished the feed ramp but this has always been a sweet rifle. Don't hesitate on one of these.

For the price it is a good gun.You need to be aware the it will take a little work to make it nice.I installed a spring kit to smooth it out and refinished the stock and now is one of my favorite guns.

I've had this gun for over two years. I shot lots of different types of .38 and .357 with no problems. Gun is fun to shoot and accurate. I did purchase a slick up kit and DVD from Steve's Gunz. The kit really smoothed out the action. I also got bored last winter and refinished the furniture. Turns out my stock was mahogany with brown walnut stain. I stripped the stock and refinished with 8 coats of Tung oil. The stock is beautiful a little too nice, I used to carry this gun around my ranch on a 4 wheeler, now I'm worried about beating it up. Great rifle for the money, built to shoot.
