Model 70 is my favorite out of the box rifle. This example arrived perfectly, and was another great experience with Buds.

Great gun it arrived as expected and what can you say about a Winchester it is a beautiful gun. Mounted a Nikon scope and off to the deer lease. Awesome is all I can say. Price was competitive likely $50 less than the local big box.

Once again Buds came through. Not only was the rifle "new in the box," it was also one of the last production year that were made in the USA. This is truely a classic. I waited almost 50 years to get a "pre-64" Model 70. Shades of "Back to the Future," I never expected for it to happen, let alone a half centry later. The rifle speaks for itself. I can only speak to the pleasure of dealing with Buds.

Just received my new Winchester Mod 70 Featherweight in 308, it far excided my expectations, the wood is stunning, beautiful grain and color and the checkering is phenomenal. Looks like select or deluxe grade wood. the metal fit and finish is the best of any rifle I have ever owned, this will be an heirloom hopefully carried into the deer woods by a grandchild someday. Very happy with my purchase and will use Bud,s again, only downside is it took about two weeks to come.
