One of my favorite rimfire bolt guns. Super smooth action, great trigger, and excellent accuracy from CZ. Bud's does a great job with purchase and quick shipping.

This is a great looking rifle. You can see the quality in workmanship. Very nice wood in the stock my friend saw the rifle and was so impressed that he is planning on getting one. Bud’s have been very good to deal with.

The Cz 455 17 HMR American is a great deal for the money. My trigger came from the factory with a 2.5lb pull and just a tiny bit of creep. (YoDave trigger kit $20 will fix this). The bolt I have to say was atrocious, rough, very rough. I complained about my 22lr 455 Cz purchased last year, but this one was way worse. 15min with some 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper and it feels like glass. The gun is awesome, you just need to do a little work to get it there. Maybe that’s why it’s not $650. The 17 feeds perfect, and ejects spent casings reliably. Will shoot less that 1/2” groups at 50yds. Haven’t got it out further. Don’t be afraid to pull the trigger on purchasing this gun, it’s beautiful wood and nice bluing. Cheers!

Just spent the last two days using my new CZ-USA 17HMR to clobber prairie dogs. I put over 1200 rounds of Hornady ammo thru the gun without a single issue. The accuracy was incredible and consistency was spotless - a very enjoyable gun to shoot.

I have owned the rifle for a year. When you add up the CZ’s improved trigger, fine accuracy, excellent reliability, and detachable magazine, the decision is a no brainer, the CZ 455 American 17 HMR is a superior weapon for the quality and price. Mounted a Leupold VX2 6x18x40 adjustable objective on my CZ 455 American 17 HMR and it's next to perfect for me. Bought from Buds and always come here for the best prices.

Should have bought this rifle originally, but decided to try and buy a cheap Marlin and accurize it. Came to my senses a year later and sold that locally and bought this off Buds (because where else do you go if you want the best price on firearms?) First time buying a gun online for me. Really easy. Shipped to my local FFL in just over a week, everything was perfect. The rifle itself is what it is, a CZ. The best shooting rimfire rifle you will find under $500. Trigger is really good, there are inexpensive ways to make it great. Out of the box accuracy was better that I ever could get with the Marlin after adding pillars and glass bedding with any type of ammo. Great gun. If you are on the fence considering a rimfire bolt action and this is $75 out of your budget, go ahead and wait for it. It will be worth it in the long run and you won't have to second guess yourself later. For those that might read into the traditionalist CZ owners who say the 455 is inferior to the 452 it replaced, this gun of mine shoots every bit as good as the 452 my cousin owns. Only noticeable differences of preference to me are that the 452's had a glossier finish on the wood and blueing where the 455 is more of a matte finish.
