this is a great pistol for the money have been too the range many times with it and it is very accurate and reliable shipping was fast and communication was helpful at buds i highly recommend this pistol for anyone looking for a entry level 1911 and i highly recommend buds as they are great too do business with i will be ordering from you again thanks guys!

This is my first 1911 ever. I bought this gun back in July/August & it's been sitting up since then. I finally got to the range yesterday & it's an outstanding 1911 for the price. Straight out of the box, no cleaning/lubrication or anything. I only put 40-50 rounds through it. But it performed flawlessly, good trigger, no jams, the red fiber-optic front sight is a nice addition. I'm definitely sold on 1911's now. It's safe to say my next 1911 will be another Para Ordnance (P-14). Now if I can only get the 'Mrs.' to buy off on it.

Shipping was fast and easy. Pickup at my local FFL dealer was even easier. will definitely order from buds again. The .45 1911 para ordnance is an excellent weapon and has already eaten up 200 rounds without a problem. This handgun is extremely accurate, no wonder it is such a classic design. The fiber optic sight is a great upgrade. So is the extended beavertail safety. And contrary to popular belief this full sized 1911 is NOT to big to conceal and carry. It will definitely be my carry weapon of choice for some time to come. Thanks buds gun shop!!

got the Para in 48 hrs. Great gun, triger is crisp.good sights. I recently took it out shooting and it is extremely accurate and ate all the ammo I fed it without a glitch. It feels just like the 1911 I carried in the Army, only better made. I would recommend this gun to anyone who loves 1911's and wants one in his or her inventory.

This is my first 1911 and probable my last. The gun malfunctioned with every loaded magazine at least every two rounds. The magazines would stick badly and was very hard to remove. I understand there is a break in period but this seems to be more than that. Wish i had bought a Glock 21. I have owned two glocks and never had a misfire right out of the box. I love this 1911. It's a solid weapon that will never let you down. It fired everything i put through it with absolutely no problems. The only problems I had were feeding malfunctions while using Pro-Mag magazines and that is, of course, no fault of the weapon. Other than that this 1911 has functioned flawlessly and I love it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a simple, basic 1911 upon which to build.

Very happy with my purchase and the $539 price couldn't be beat. I ordered it last Wednesday and it shipped out the next day. Only problem with that was that meant it didn't get here until Monday thanks to the weekend. Took it to the range yesterday and blew through a box of Winchester white box without an issue. It was smooth as butter, the fiber optic site was very bright, and it was extremely accurate. My wife also liked how smooth it was and the minimal recoil. She just didn't like the weight, but she says that about everything that's heavier than my Mosquito or G19. I was pleasantly surprised to see the extra sites in the case. There is no mention of that anywhere, but it comes with one red FO site attached and another red one along with a green one, a tool, and instructions in a small bag in the case. That was a great bonus and increased the value even more.
