• Q: Thank you for your answers. Too bad, I was hoping to find the round nose bullet. I shot a deer last year at 40 yds with a 150 gr Winchester PP. First one hit; the deer stood there. No running, not even a flinch. 2nd shot hit and he stood there, eventually trotting 50 ft and dropped. Both were vital hits. I can only assume it that close range to bullets zipped through him like a pine needle. Thats why I was looking for the round nose 180 gr. Thanks for your answers.

• Q: OK, thank you. The picture on the website is showing what I think is the round nose bullet -- which is what I wanted to find. I'd sure like to know if the round nose bullet is still available anywhere.

  Jimmy, Yes, remington updated the projectile with a pointed nose instead of the round nose design. From reviews penetration/expansion are almost identical between the two, they just updated the design. I'd imagine you will receive the new pointed version unless buds had some old stock laying around and with ammo sales being as high as they are highly unlikely but as I said from reviews sounds like they're just as good. Hope this helps.
