When I find this stuff, I buy it. It’s a lot of fun to shoot it it’s very loud and explosive. It’s very hot 12 gauge loads.

I bought these just to test out the durability of a newly acquired shotgun. Figured, if it could shoot these without the sights or other accessories falling off, I'd be happy. Good news, my shotgun and accessories held up under the recoil. Bad news, I almost got kicked out of the indoor range lol. If you've never shot these at an indoor range, maybe consider tripling up on ear protection and give everyone some advanced notice. Especially if your shotgun barrel is ported. These suckers are LOUD, and they pack a PUNCH. My shoulder was okay, but I'd feel bad for whatever got hit with the business end of one of these slugs! All in all, fun time at the range, and my shoulder was okay!

My NEF trapper 2 with full rifled barrel can put three in a three inch circle at 50 yards. I trust in Winchester Super X every time.

To fast & to much recoil. I did noticed that the faster the velocity on 1 oz slugs, the wider the spreads. I'd stick to the 1600 fps 1 oz slugs. They seem to be more accurate & will still past thru any deer that walks out in front of U. If Ur into faster slugs, I'd say stick to 50-60 yd shots. If Ur shotgun shoots them accurate enough to cover a 5 " circle on the vitals, then go for it. That's just my criteria, 5" circle in vitals, to be ethical enough to take deer & hogs. Everybody's different. U have to try different Brands & try them out & go with the one that will give U the best accuracy at what ever Ur range is. Trust me, all these 1oz slugs will go thru any deer size game giving U plenty of blood to trail up. Do Ur research & happy hunting!!! Deer Man Out
