Simply remove floor plate, inspect factory mag opening for burrs (remove burrs as necessary) install extension, insert spring and add floor plate. Installation takes only seconds and does not permanently alter factory magazine. Chrome silicon spring is salt water resistant and will not take a set.

The piece that connects to the bottom part of the magazine is missing an internal front guide. The result is that the platform the bullet rides on gets stuck after the 25th to 26th round, so the spring does not push the rounds up the magazine. This will cause a failure to feed and render the extension a fatal excessory.

These are useless. All 3 that I ordered compressed the FN Gen 1 magazines to the point that the spring would not compress to load them.

Make sure to check the generation of your gun - I foolishly didn't read close enough to see it won't work with the newer models . May make it work with some grinding but haven't gotten to it yet
