Never shot this historic gun. Sadly, tried the Youtube fix to remove the fake silencer. Now, it can shoot around corners! (still not off but bent). Then parts fell out that hold the mag in. Hopefully, I can restore it with the right gunsmith. Again, not going to find these cheap anymore.

Nice beretta in nearly new condition. Surpassed my expectations from what I have seen some were electro pencilled And this was not the case with my pistol. I would recommend this beretta to anyone needing a well made 22 that won't break the bank. The can came off easily and an aftermarket thread protector is readily available. 9 out of ten . Way to go Buds.

It is a nice little Beretta, magazines are expensive for a 22 LR but there are a few after market available. Sights are obscured by the fake can/suppressor that was added to be able to import the firearm, and the front sight is completely lost against it due to it being black and the can being black. I suggest a little bit of paint on the front sight. Great trigger, very well built. Just like I would expect from Beretta. On a side note you will not be able to fully remove the barrel from the slide due to the fake can being permanently attached but more than enough room to move it to clean it no problem.

Order was shipped fast. Gun was in really good condition. Grips were a little scratched up but I didn't care. I'm going to get some wood grips anyway. I got the fake suppressor off and put on an adapter so I can use my silencerco sparrow on it. Barrel is threaded 1/2X20 so you need an adapter to put a standard suppressor on it. Sights are low profile so unless you use it without a suppressor you cannot use the sights very well. My sparrow suppressor is much smaller than the fake one and I still cant see over the suppressor. I like collecting older guns that are a little unique so this fits my collection perfectly. Super smooth action and the trigger is great.

I have to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised when my FFL opened the box of this Beretta 71 only a couple of days after I placed my order with Bud's. I've been collecting 70 series Beretta 22's for several years now and own quite a few. The black finish on the alloy lower is pristine, no discoloration, scratches, or loss of finish due to wear. The bluing on the steel slide is almost as good, with only some microdots of wear. Besides that, there were a couple of small areas on the barrel and on the grips with some very minor scratches. If you've owned almost any brand new Beretta, you can see similar spots on the barrel after your first outing. These grips scratch pretty easily from my experience, and these are still almost as good as any I own. The magazine looks to be mint as well which is unbelievable, a nice Beretta original mag like this can easily bring $100 or more. I can say that I've paid close to $400 and well over that amount for some of my Beretta 70 series pistols years ago, and not many of them are in much better condition than this. For Bud's price of $302 this was a crazy good deal. I had made a promise to myself not to buy any more of this particular pistol, but I didn't have one example with a threaded barrel. Since my stamp finally came in, I had to get this beautiful sexy host! To get a Beretta 71 in this condition with a threaded barrel at this price was definitely too good of a deal to pass up. I would probably pay this much just for a threaded barrel, if I could find one! My FFL was blown away and went online to order one as soon as he saw mine.

Mag was a bit rusty but after cleaning it up it works well. Over all the gun works great. Put about 500 rounds through it with no jams or issues. Works great with high volecity and standard volecity ammo.

shame on our gun laws to have to attach this monstrasity to the end of the barrel to import.. other than that...great piece of history...

It has arrived, and aside from a couple scratches on the grips, it looks like it has never been fired. The Buds portion of the transaction was prompt and they kept me informed. Very happy with them. Now, where is that file?

A:After looking at the listing for both pistols William, it looks like Buds entered the prices opposite of what they should be for the X= Excellent Condition and V= Very Good Condition pistols. I would hurry before they catch this.See 3 more answers | -
