These all copper Barnes bullets are devastating at close range and have good effect out to 100 yards

Excellent ammo. Barnes is my go to ammo for deer hunting in all three calibers I hunt with. Good expansion and 99% retained weight for penetration.

Less recoil than average 44 mag ammo and great for defense. Not likely to over penetrate.

In California wete required to use lead free ammunition for hunting. This is the best I've found. I'd love to find a 240 gr SW, but this shoots well and does expand. I'll keep buying it.

Although I haven't had a chance to fire any of this Barnes VOR-TX through my S&W model 29 44 mag, I'm not worried in the least. All of my center fire weapons have plinking ammo, but the Barnes ammo is saved for the serious stuff. I would bet my life on it, because I do.
