Though built to address the needs of 3-gunners everywhere, the new Panther 3G1 from DPMS Firearms, LLC will exceed even the most discerning shooter's expectations! Highlighting the new lightweight rifle is the exceptionally accurate, 18" (black) Teflon-coated MK-12 stainless steel heavy barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1x8 twist and finished with the muzzle stabilizing Miculek Compensator. The forged, 7075-T6 flattop A3 aluminum receiver features the hard-coat anodized per Mil Spec and black Teflon coating customary on all DPMS rifles and houses the phosphated, Mil Spec heat-treated and plated 8620 steel bolt and carrier. The lightweight, standard length VTAC modular handguard from JP Enterprises provides the optimum cooling capacity needed in the sport of 3-gun while the single rail gas block allows for the installation of iron sights necessary in the tactical division. A tactical charging handle assembly, is a necessity for those shooters utilizing optics, completes the upper assembly.
The semi-automatic lower assembly features the standard forged DPMS black Teflon-coated, heat-treated and plated per Mil Spec, 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver complete with a JP Adjustable trigger and aluminum trigger guard. An upgraded pistol grip and Magpul 6-position, telescoping CTR stock with friction locking mechanism completes the lower assembly.

Ordered this riffle on Monday evening and received on Thursday. this is the first time I have ordered a firearm from buds and I am well pleased with the experience. Now for the riffle, the jp trigger in this riffle is by far the best I have felt in any AR I have shot. The barrel was cleaned after every shot for the first 25 round then cleaned after every 10 rounds for the next 200 rounds per DPMS requirement. Had gun sighted in in 3 rounds, then started shredding a 2 inch dot at 100 yards which I think is great for just using a red dot scope. had 0 malfunctions of any type. Riffle ran flawless. You must buy a tall flip up sight to go on front gas block or your iron sight want line up. If you decide to purchase this 3g1 riffle, I believe you will be well pleased. Hope this is helpful to anyone thinking of buying this riffle.Thanks Buds for great experience.
