This was my third ever handgun purchase, and my second from Bud's. Transaction was smooth, shipping was fairly fast, and the product was as advertised. The gun performed fine shooting .38's, but the cylinder locked up the first time I fired a .357 through it. It loosened up a little over time, but I eventually sold it and bought a Smith, then a Ruger later. My opinion, pay the extra for a Smith or a Ruger. Less hassle in the end.

I had no problems with this Rossi .357 and it preformed very well at the range. I would recommend it to anyone who can’t afford s Ruger or Smith and Wesson, but still wants a reliable.357/38.

My transaction with Bud`s Guns was a very pleasant experience. I purchased this firearm, about (3) yrs. ago. The price was less than what my local dealer could do, even with the $40 transfer fee. Revolver arrived in a timely fashion, and was in pristine condition. Overall, I have been happy with this revolver. It is accurate, well balanced, and nice blue finish. Rossi is an easy company to deal with for parts and service. The revolver fit the bill exactly for what I needed. I live on a fixed income, so cannot afford more expensive firearms from the elite companies. Dollar for dollar it stacks up very well against the big name revolvers. One detraction, the after market accessory sellers treat the Rossi as a ( redheaded stepchild ) as such it is difficult to find things like grips, holsters, sights, etc. If you want a dependable, inexpensive revolver that will shoot well, I would recommend this firearm.

I read mixed reviews. Was stinking surprised at the quality and accuracy of this sweet revolver!! All the kids were having no trouble firing and hitting all the targets, they loved it and I loved it, becoming a EDC!! Love .357, always have and this is a very affordable and excellent choice, no doubt y'all will find a S&W that you can't pass up, but I won't be trading this off or getting rid of it.

Wow. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL weapon. Light coat of oil and straight to the range. 150 rds of .38 special and 100 rds of .357 magnum. Accurate, accurate, accurate. I absolutely LOVE it.....btw....Buds was fast! I received the email with tracking number AFTER the weapon was already delivered to my FFL. Now that's fast.

Received my Rossi 971 today. From the box to the shooting range. Fired .38 special and .357 rounds and it performed great. Smooth trigger, great feel and accurate. Didn't notice anything too tight that a new gun should or shouldn't have. Very pleased with my purchase. Excellent quality, right price. and a big double thumbs up to Bud's.

Received my NIB ROSSI 971 357 mag in a timely manner. Nice clean look, solid lockup, cylinder timing seems accurate. cylinder gap seems a little tight, but I would rather have too little than too much.I can't give full review as I have yet to fire it. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Thanks Bud
