CIA's Zastava PAP M85 NP is an improved version of the M85 PV. How can you make an AK style pistol in .223 caliber even cooler than it already is? CIA added a sexy Krinkov-style muzzle brake that actually improves the functioning of the gas system, and a clever magazine well allowing the use of common AR-15/M-16 magazines with no magazine modification or tinkering required. It has a 10" barrel, black synthetic pistol grip and wooden foregrip.The Zastava PAP M85 NP pistol comes with one 30-round magazine.

I really love this gun. I’ve had it now for 8 years and it has never misfired even with lower grade ammo. It’s well made and very happy with the purchase as I really bought it on a whim after seeing on Buds. Replaced the grip with the Hogue and recently bought a brace that can easily be taken off. Also,I have a 60 round barrel mag that makes shooting a bit more fun and has the gun looking good. Buds Gun Shop made the transaction easy.

I really enjoyed shooting this once I added a stabilizer brace. I've also replaced the hard plastic pistol grip with a more comfortable Hogue grip. I love the fact that I can use standard AR mags. Only 30 rounds were fired, but 3 failed to eject. This could be due to cheap ammo (Wolf). Overall, I like the weapon.

a nicely made, and completely reliable rifle caliber pistol. It is a 5.56/223 caliber weapon, and it is a fireball thrower! It uses STANAG AR type magazines. It cycles all the ammo you can get in this country; steel case, brass, all of it. It is superior to most other Yugo AK models, in that the factory builds 5.56 weapons with chromed barrels and the best components. It will take standard AK pistol grips, and Yugoslav dimension forward hand-guards. The factory trigger is very good for an AK type weapon. Sights are pretty rudimentary, but indicative of the close quarter intended use. A solid choice in the rifle caliber pistol class.

OK folks, I have had this for awhile and have shot a few hundred rounds and I just have to say, WOW! Has never jammed and it is so fast you don't need selective fire at all. I would like to have side holsters so I could open carry 2. A real joy to shoot.

Very Loud. accuracy is on par. mag well needs custom work to be flawless. reliable firearm. not ideal for sound suppression. trigger needs to be replaced for trigger snobs.
