This is my second 7MM-08 in the Remington 700 action. This purchase was because of the accuracy and reliability of the first one. So far it has proven to be great in both of those areas. I reload my ammunition and like my other 7MM-08 this rifle accepts all of my loadings without excellent accuracy. I have had rifles that simply would not shoot some loads well. This CDL however, shows no preference. It balances well and the Remington stocks just seem to fit me. I am generally a wood stock person. I think they just look better. The wood, the fit and the finish on this 700 is exceptional. So much so that it may never see the hunting woods. IT gets a lot of comments at the range simply because it looks good.
