The model 700 VLS (varmint laminated stock) delivers tack driving, varmint rifle accuracy with a handsome, resin impregnated, laminated stock. Includes monte carlo cheekpiece, and a wide, flat, beaver tail shape forend for enhanced stability. Firmly bedded in the stock is a rigid model 700 action, mated with a vibration dampening 26-inch heavy varmint barrel. All metal has a richly blued, fine satin finish.

Got mine sighted in finally. Redfield 4-12X scope on it and she shots 4 shots into a pattern that's covered by a quarter at 100 yards. The rifle itself is superb...but my shooting needs work for sure. Not having fired a centerfire rifle in the last 20 years, Im a tad rusty you might say......:) More time at the range ( 50 miles away) and some good handloads and she'll be a tack driver I'm sure.
