The Snake Slayer IV has a 4 1/4” long barrel (versus 3 1/2” barrel). This longer barreled Snake Slayer provides tighter shot patterns, higher velocities, and even more manageable
recoil than the original Snake Slayer. The Snake Slayer IV will accept all the extra interchangeable barrels and also has the extended grips for added comfort.

  • Rebounding Hammer

  • Spring-Loaded Cammed Locking Lever (for a tighter barrel/frame fit and Rapid loading and unloading)

Is it the most practical firearm to own, probably not. But is it cool? You bet it is! I am very happy with this purchase. It looks great, works great, and feels great. Wish I had the funds for another. Good job Bond Arms and good job Buds.

Beautifully made. Perfect for it's purpose. Ideal snake gun but also an easy to conceal backup gun. 4 1/4" barrel makes for far better shot pattern as well as better performance when using 45LC. Recoil is nothing to worry about as the outstanding grips distribute it comfortably. I also like the option of using either 2 3/4 " or 3" 410 shells. Definitely a keeper.

Bud's has earned a regular customer with me due to their excellent prices, service, and communication.

i bought this as a spare because ive been shooting the crap out of my texas defender. i have barrels in 22 and 357 and you can get plenty of trigger time with 22 then make the ground shake with 357 magnum. this is one well built, well designed, and safe derringer.

Have made many purchases from Bud's all have been great transactions. This is a stout little gun that shoots well. Sights are a little difficult if you need to use them. Winchester PDX ammo kicks hardest. I would recommend Federal 2.5" buck or #4 shot and Hornady FTX 225 grain for manageable recoil. Overall a solid well built quality firearm, ideal for concealed carry with the Bond Arms driving holster. I am also thinking of purchasing another barrel in .40 S&W which is another great feature of this gun.
