The Ruger Vaquero Montado arrived in good condition. However, the gun was very dirty and in need of oiling. Once cleaned and oiled the functioned very well. Thanks Buds for great service.

This is my second of these guns I've purchased from Bud's and are to be used in mounted shooting. Interestingly, the action on this gun (trigger, hammer) feels stiffer than the other gun when I put them side by side and after a good cleaning and lubing. We'll see what how it feels after a few rounds as the other has about 250 rounds through it so far. Working with Bud's is easy and I'd do it again. One odd thing on this order is that the description read: "The Ruger 5120 KNV-453 New Vaquero Montado Revolver in .45 LC features a 3.75-inch barrel, bright stainless steel finish, black hard rubber checkered grips, fixed sights, beveled cylinder, scaled down frame, checkered wide spur hammer, single action trigger, an overall length of 9.5 inches, an unloaded weight of 35 oz, and a 6 round capacity." The gun came with wood grips and wound up matching my other gun. In a way, I was looking forward to trying the hard rubber grips but now instead I have matching guns which is nice. So, to Bud's, you'll probably need to take a closer look at the descriptions of the guns you have to sell. And it worked out great anyway.
