one of my cowboy guns smooth action and straight shooter can hit targets out to 200yds fun to shoot

I have a couple of the Rossi 92 rifles one a 20" carbine in stainless and one 20" carbine blued and both are very nice rifles so when I opened the box to check out the rifle I was a little disappointed, The end of the barrel had a big burr on it, the rifle looked as though someone had dropped the rifle on the end of the barrel damaging it to the point it needed some work to clean it up and fix the bump in the end of the barrel just to be able to shot it, I also found missing screws and several parts blued instead of stainless. The only reason I did not send the gun back to buds is that I am having the gun changed from a 24" to 22" barrel, changing some parts and turning it into a take down, so the problems do not matter to me. But it does make me take pause at wanting to purchase another rossi rifle without holding it my hands to be able to inspect it before buying. . As always Buds was good to deal with on the purchase and presume that with the volume they deal with they are unable to pull the gun out of the box and check it out completely.
