You get a quality bench rest rifle with a great trigger for the price most bench rest shooters pay for their receiver. Very accurate

This savage rifle was topped with a Leupold 45X44 competition series scope which brought the rifle and scope price to $2600. I expected a lot and so far the rifle is delivering. I’m getting 1/2” groups at 100 yards on benchrest. The trigger was so light it was unusable. Measured 4 oz on my Lyman scale. I adjusted the trigger and went out again and that’s when I was shooting 1/2” groups with match ammo. I’m ready to start hand loading for this rifle and get involved with br matches. Rifle w/ scope is about 15 lbs.

Just picked this rifle up from Bud's. First off it's as good looking as a rifle can get, if that matters. I Topped it with a Nightforce 8.5-32x56. After breaking in the barrel I shot it today and Shot a 1/4" 3 shot group at 100 yds. I have no doubt the gun is capable of better. Trigger pull is light and breaks clean. Buds was great as always and had the best price. I'm not a competitive shooter, just like punching paper and hunting, but I see no reason this couldn't be a competitive shooter. Even though it's a single shot and benchrest gun, I put a bipod on it and can see some long distance Antelope shooting in its future. Great gun! Great service!
