• Q: I have this same shotgun and was told by savage I couldn't shoot slugs out of it with the cylinder choke. Is this true cause I don't want to mess up my shotgun.

  Slugs will run fine threw this, obviously someone at Savage didn't know what they were talking about. Wich isn't shocking most people who answer questions for gun manufacturers are just secretary types who don't know much about their actual products. This will work best with rifled slugs. Hope this helps.
