I bought the FMK to support a company in California even though I live in TEXAS.

Overall the FMK has been pretty good as a range gun, as I have shot it more. If you buy one read all the good and bad on the internet, it is definately not problem free.

I recommend cleaning before the first time out lincluding the striker pin and a good oiling. Also manually rack the FMK 200 to 500 times, then lock in emergency mode and let sit for 2 hours. Now clean it again and go to the range, the first 50 rounds had FTE and FTF's. This was acceptable to me as I use the gun for training my daughter on the proper methods to clear. After the first 50 rounds the FTE and FTF's have tapered off, and after 150 rounds down range I may get 1 FTE or FTF per 50. Would I buy another YES, even knowing what I know now.

What some look to as quirks, I look at as training oppurtunity's to stay fresh in my skills.

I am very please with the FMK 9C1 Gen II. The first time at the range I had a few failure to eject and feed. After a couple of short magazines of shooting the feeding and ejection problems went away.

I would definitely recommend this pistol to my friends.

I took this pistol to the range for the first time and due to time constraints I was only able to fire 50 rounds. Of those 50 rounds I experienced 30 rounds that had a failure to eject, 5 rounds that experienced a failure to feed and one round that did not fire but had a dimpled primer on the very edge. I was able to fire five rounds in a row without any problems. A a note, I have a friend who purchased this same pistol and he also experience the same problems and send it back to FMK for repair which is probably what I am going to have to do. I will say that Buds service and shipping was great and I will continue to purchased products from them.
