With the introduction of the P938, Sig Sauer now offers the ballistic advantage of the 9mm cartridge in a platform similar in size to the best-selling P238 pistol. A single-action-only trigger, coupled with full-size Siglite Night Sights makes the P938 handle like a much larger pistol, yet is still easy to carry concealed. With dimensions just slightly larger than its .380ACP counterpart, the P938 packs six plus one rounds of 9mm into an all-metal frame. The cocked-and-locked single-action trigger gives the P938 unmatched accuracy in a pistol its size. Fans of the 1911 will find the thumb safety, magazine release and slide stop lever in familiar places. An ambidextrous safety makes the P938 easy for left- and right-handed shooters. An extended seven-round magazine will be available separately. The most compact 9mm in the Sig Sauer product line, the P938 will be available in five configurations.

Super accurate little gun. I can shoot this as well as I can shoot my full sized 1911, even better actually. I've never had any issues with it unless I was running super cheap ammo and the gun was dry, so keep it lubed up and run decent ammo and you'll be very happy.
I might eventually have to change the grips however because they kinda rip up your skin when carrying, which is a disappointment because I love how they look.
All in all, a super quality gun for the money and I'd trust my life to it.

Excellent 9mm pocket gun.
Huge upgrade to my prior pocket carry pistol.
Outstanding night sights. Sig pistols consistently have the brightest night sights I routinely encounter.
Excellent trigger.....not quite as crisp as a 1911....but dang close.
Front strap checkering, rear G10 mainspring housing and G10 grips anchor this gun in my large hand. Zero slide bite from this gun. Accuracy is excellent.....fist sized groups at 15 yards will all ammo tried, and that’s at fast pace....soon as front sight comes down on target...BOOM....repeat.
Extended magazines are excellent.
Pocket carried mine in holster for last two years with zero wear or corrosion evidenced. Sig did well on the finish of this one.
The only thing I can say is to know that spare extended magazines have a polymer pinky extension that tends to slide down....noticeably so when you are doing a fast reload. I keep this in mind when doing drills.

Great price from buds and a great gun. Easy to use and get familiar with if you've ever shot a 1911. Trigger pull seems good for a defensive gun. Only 500 and some change shot with no issues and is my new carry gun, light weight and shoots great.

Sig P938 Review: The pistol arrived at my FFL in a case that included a 7 round mag, a 6 round mag & a plastic holster which binds when gun is unholstered. The date on the case was about a year old. I disassembled & cleaned the gun which was nicely oiled and fairly clean already. Reassembly was another story - the spring/follower is not what I'm used to (mostly Glocks) and an extra thumb would be helpful. Cycling the gun a few times at home was fairly smooth, nice trigger, the thumb operated safety is very stiff; the grips really are aggressive and you can feel your palm after handling the gun a while. With the extended (7 rd.) mag, it just accommodates my little finger (some call it a pinky, but I don't - XL glove size). Empty mags seem to need the mag release button depressed to load into the pistol. At the range, slide back and mag inserted, I noticed the slide hesitate slightly when hitting the topmost American Eagle 124 gr. bullet. First 7 rounds were very good - at 25' I had a 3" group. A little to the left but the sights are great. Then, the 4th round of the 6 round mag jammed; the case didn't eject and the next round jammed it in the chamber sideways. No problem clearing and the rest of that range time was fine. I called Sig about the jam and they said the gun just needs to be used and broken-in, but if the jamming persists to call them back and they'll have a look. My point of reference is from mostly Glocks and I have never (thousands of rounds) had a jam. Bottom line is, I like the gun, it's small size, the feel of it in my hand and it's accuracy - I will continue "breaking-in" the gun and we'll see if it proves dependable.

Received my Sig 938 a couple of weeks ago and it was more than I expected. The general description stated one 7 round mag but it actually came also with a 6 round mag and a holster. I put about 150 rounds through the 938 without any problems. It felt good in the hand and the 7 round mag gives you a full grip. The Sig sights stand out and make sighting even for my old eyes easier to acquire. Buds delivers again, great service, plan to buy from them again.
