Having shot an 870 Express for roughly 20 years of hunting and being relatively new to trap shooting I was looking for a shotgun that would make the transition to the trap field as seamless as possible. The 870 Wingmaster Classic Trap did not disappoint. Fit and finish are great. At first I thought the comb on the stock was too high as when I shouldered the gun there was a noticable gap between the mid and front beads. After shooting a few rounds of trap, this gap no longer bothers me as I went from the occasional dusting of a target (mostly chips) to turning each clay to dust when I do my part. I had used a full choke in my express and find the "Singles" choke of the Classic Trap to be great for my 16 yard summer league. Can't wait to try out the other included chokes from further back.
If you're accustomed to an 870 and don't want to break the bank on a dedicated trap gun, the Classic Trap fits the bill.

I was skeptical purchasing a Shotgun (or any weapon) on-line. However, I can tell you Bud's is an reputable and highly professional dealer. My Wingmaster was delivered to my FFL on time and in mint condition. The price was unbelievable too. Moreover, shipping was FREE!. I had been looking for a Wingmaster for some time (not necessarily the Classic Trap 200 Anniversary Edition). This is a beautiful Shotgun with an incredibly smooth action. I use a 12 gauge pump for Clays and this Shotgun was light, accurate and enjoyable to shoot. On my first outing, I cracked over 100 clays. After my Clay outing I then ordered 12 gauge ammo from Buds which I also received at an incredible price. I recommend ordering from Bud's!.

I am a 12 month - year round shooter. I shoot all over the country. This Remington Wingmaster is the best pump I have had in my hands ever. I believe that the 870 is the standard for a pump. Out of the box it fits, shoots where I am looking and I would re-purchase the exact same gun. Lucky mem my wife gave it to me for our anniversary. Wood is pristine, works smooth. I only wish it did not have the gold 200th anniversary inlay on the left side of the receiver. I have purchased several products from Bud's and feel I get value for my dollar. I live over an hour away and am never disappointed when I go to pick up an order in Lexington, they are always open on time, with a knowledgeable staff willing to help you with your purchase. They have the lowest no haggle price I have found, hands down.

I had no idea how nice this gun was until it got here. Have always wanted a wingmaster but this exceeded expectations by a LONGSHOT. Not only is the gun brand new in the box but it also is at a price over $400 under what my FFL could price me! I have been buying from Bud's Gun's for a while and I will continue to do so! 5 stars
