It was as expected. Hi-Point is everything the reviews I read described. Not a pretty gun but seems real solid. Goes bang when it's supposed to. I haven't run much ammo through it yet but I installed the ghost ring sight and look forward to checking it out. The little Kershaw knife is pretty cool. Nice knife. Seems to be a good deal for the $$.

This has been a very reliable pistol. It's a little bulky and heavy for EDC but it IS doable. Slight mods to the magazines make hollow points behave much better. Break-in is important with these. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone starting out or on a tight budget who wants to practice or protect.

This was much better than expected. Always hear bad things about hipoint couldnt be happier.a bit bulky but i have put 1000-1500 rounds thru it and 1 jamb. not bad for a $190 gun!

Great gun right out of the box. Nice slide finish, best sights-yellow front-red rear, cannot fire if magazine removed which is a good safety feature. Shot 900 rounds and only had a single 'smoke stack' at about 500 rounds. Gun is heavy due to large thick slide but makes for a smooth shooter. Very accurate, comfortable and reliable. will get another. USA made.

This was my first purchase from Buds and they were fantastic. I ordered the C9 the day after Christmas and it was at my FFL by the 31st. The process was simple thank you Buds. Now for the pistol review. When I arrived at my FFL and checked out the pistol the rear sights were snapped off. I don't know who did it, my FFL Buds or Hi-point. Either way I'm not worried because it has the ghost ring sight and I'll use that for now. I called Hi-Point today and they are shipping me a new sight for free. Thats one of the reasons I went with the Hi-Point, because you can't beat there Warranty.I love the Feel of the gun. I don't know what people are talking about when they say its very heavy. I'm a buck 40 soak and wet and I have no problem handling this gun! For $190 bucks who can't go wrong with this pistol! Ignore what snobs say. I've shot glocks and Berettas and I'm not impressed with their accuracy! Why buy a pistol for 500 bucks when you can buy 4 of these for the same price and have a better warranty?!
