I am debating between getting the 9mm Kahr or the 380 Kahr. Still pretty new to guns and but have shot both 9mm and 380. Not really too sure if one cartridge would be better than the other. This will mainly be used for home defense but I would also like to use for the range as well.

Eldridge, I would recommend going with the 9mm pistol. This is due to better ballistics, better ammo selection, only slightly larger pistol and will serve any role the 380 can then some when it comes to life or limb.

The CW Series have conventional rifling instead of match grade polygonal rifling; the CW Series have a MIM (metal-injection-molded) slide stop lever instead of a machined slide stop lever; the CW Series cannot be retrofitted with night sights because the slide does not have a front dovetail cut; the CW Series slide have fewer machining operations; and the CW Series have simple engraving on the slide instead of rollmarking; and the CW Series are shipped with one magazine instead of two.

I love Kahr pistols because they all feel great in the hand an carry well plus very light weight. With that being said this pistol has a break in period of 200 rounds but during that period I had no issues but I also cleaned and made sure it was lubricated before I took it out. It has some recoil to it but for me it wasn't a problem but that could be a deal breaker for some.

I am a recently retired police officer. I bought the Kahr CW9 while I was still active duty to carry as my concealed weapon. Even though it’s a 7+ 1 capacity (wish it had more capacity), In my opinion it is the perfect weapon for concealment. It’s relatively lightweight, has a very narrow profile, yet it’s a lot of weapon for the money. It takes practice, to get a tight grouping with this weapon, because of its light weight. As a retired officer, I still am required to qualify two times a year. I normally qualify with a Glock 17, or a Glock 21. and of course my grouping is tight with these guns, because of the weight difference. Point being don’t neglect practice with the Kahr. It’s a beautiful size for concealed carry.

Bought this gun for my wife fit her perfect then took it to the range to many problems to list. Went to the range the second time and still the same problems. Needless to say i traded the gun in on another gun.

LOVE this gun. Bought it online from BUDS and had it within 1 week. So far, I have fired 100 rounds through it (different types of ammo) and no problems, whatsoever. I will definitely use this as my EDC.

Great budget carry gun. Standard Kahr quality but a much lower price. The trigger is the only down fall to it, its mushy and a little long, however there are spring kits for it. I added one to mine. great carry gun for people that like a single stack but don't want the weight of a 1911.

It has been a long while since I have owned a Kahr handgun's, have had several. Everyone never failed to go bang when the trigger was pulled. The trigger on these guns are actuated by a cam design, while reliable the trigger travel and reset was excessive. I have to say the entry level pistols are just as good as the top of the line Kahrs. Bud's is a good place to order from but before ordering find a local store that will let you handle and dryfire the pistol to get a feel of the action.
