Purchased for my wife for target shooting & home defense. After 2 mags the grouping settled down, leaving everything in the 10 ring. Fit & finish is exceptional. Trigger is silky smooth. Stainless frame instead of polymer does add a bit of weight, but does dampen felt recoil quite a bit. She is quite happy with the pistol.

I've got a safe full of great guns from high-priced 1911's, several Sigs, S&Ws & Rugers. But the K9 loaded with +P is my constant companion, only replaced at bedtime when my Sig P226 Elite & Mossberg 590-A1 combo take the night shift. :-) Yeah, it weighs just as much as my Kimber Ultra Crimson, but I feel the Kahr is a better carry gun. The trigger is long, but sooooo smooth - perfect for carry. Add in night sights, fabulous accuracy and traditional Kahr reliability. It just doesn't get any better than this. As usual, Bud's actually had the gun in stock, unlike so many of their competitors and Bud's price was great, too.

My Kahr K9 is my daily companion and probably my favorite handgun in my collection. It is dead on accurate & every bit as reliable as any of my Sig's. Of course, it is heavier than a polymer gun, but unlike the polymer sub-compact carry guns, this one is a real joy to shoot at the range - so much so that the wife wants one of her own. As usual, shopping through Bud's was a breeze.
