A great 45 self defense pistol for the buck, Have some problems however Cobra has great customer service. I like getting low priced pistols and playing with them. I have most every gun out there and this cures my urge to buy more for now. Buds is the best for NEW guns. Used I do Gunbroker.

I'd had jamming issues right out of the box, so I sent it back to the factory for repairs. They fixed the problem & returned it with a spare mag. Since then, I'd fired about 50 rds with no major problems. The trigger pull requires some getting used to. As for accuracy... Well, I confess that I'm not a very good shot. Perhaps I should be standing closer than 25 yards to the target. One REALLY noteworthy item to consider is this: It is difficult to un-chamber a live round without firing! I traced the problem to the bullet being stuck in the barrel. Maybe it is just the ammo that I'm using, (low-grade ball.) Over all, I do confess to some disappointment, but let's face it; I haven't really gave it much of a chance. Would I recommend it? Yeah, if that's all you could afford, and you're willing to LEARN it's idiosyncrasies. The biggest drawback is that no laser sights are available for it. I was able to find one that I could make fit. A plus is that it will fit into a Sneaky Pete holster, (SP-890, for Ruger SR-22).

This is a nice pistol for its price. Looks and feels good in my hands Cool thing about it is 1911 Magazines fits this pistol I putt 250 rounds through and no jam Compared to the cheaper pistols such as -High Point 45- This pistol is much better

Buds gun shop is great, but I can't say the same for the Cobra Patriot 45, I bought it because of the inexpensive price and wanted to prove to people that this handgun was good, but I was wrong, I carried this gun for 3 weeks without shooting it first. I went to the range on 2/16/2014 and I got a lot of jams FTF, FTE etc. jammed up on me every other shot.
