The name "Pug" may have derived from the Latin Pugnus, meaning Fist. With this in mind, the NAA Pug can be characterized as multum in parvo ("much in little") in reference to the small and convenient size.

Squat and sturdy like its namesake dog, The NAA Pug is chambered in 22 Magnum and sports a 1" heavy barrel. You can count on this stocky companion to deliver a bite even worse than his bark.

Slightly oversized pebble-textured rubber grips enable the handler to keep a firm "leash" on this pocket-sized puppy. The XS sighting system provides a quick sight picture and will enable the handler to direct the bite.

I could not be more impressed with this little pocket rocket!! I have those same friends that say "if it ain't a 45 then it's not going to stop some linebacker on pcp" blah blah blah...I always ask them the same thing: How often do you shoot people? Cause I don't shoot people very often. Never have as a matter of fact. This gun is what it is: a potent little gun that will fit ANYWHERE. The old saying a 22 in your pocket is better than a 45 at home could not be more true. This gun goes with me EVERYWHERE and is built as well as a Smith and Wesson. Never had a single problem and will shoot any kind of ammo you put in it. Its also a blast to shoot!

I ordered this on Friday, the following Monday was a holiday. It delivered to the FFL at 2pm on Tuesday and I had it a hour later.
Excellent service from Buds.
I have been to the range twice with this tiny revolver and have been shooting Speer Gold Dot mags in it. What fun, lots of noise to be sure. The last time I shot pistols was in 1969 so I am no small shot group shooter. I have shot the Pug exclusively at 10 yard targets. I will say I can hit the target silhouette. So far I am not exactly sure where I will hit it but I do hit it.
I have RA so my hands are a mess. If you are on the fence about getting one due to recoil with a small gun then worry no more. It is easy to shoot. It is a well made gun, very sturdy, not so much like a Pug (talking dogs here) but a French Bulldog. Regardless, the Pug is a blast and goes in the pocket with no problem.

To look at this little gun it's hard to believe it is such a beast. I believe the WMR round is underrated.

I put 50 rds through it yesterday with no problems.

Gun really barks and hand placement is critical, as you can imagine with this small of a pistol.

Very well made and very concealable.

This was my first gun purchase from Bud's and it was very quick and easy.

Picked up the Pug from my FFL on a Weds, took it to the range on Saturday, and couldn't be more pleased. I will admit it's a challenge to shot, but with a one inch barrel, what wouldn't be! Tried CCI, Remington ammo, all seemed to work just fine. A few keyholing, nothing way off target, but this is a close-up, "get off me" gun. Bought a holster from Stoners. I just love how this gun feels. Thanks Bud's, great price as usual!
