Got my Remmington AAC SD recenly. Still working on getting it set up fully. I will be using this weapon for mostly hunting and some long range shooting. Out of the box, the rifle was in excellent condition. gave it a good once over with my gunsmith. First impressions is dissapointment in the Houge stock. There were obvious contact points with the barrle. But replacing it was part of the plan from the start. I intend to go with the Bell & Carlson Fully Adjustable Medalist. the trigger was very crisp. No detectable slop. But a bit heavier than the 3.5lbs advertised. Haven't bothered to shoot it yet since There is a good bit of changing to do. Once I do, I will update my findings. As for rifle condition and service by Bud's, I would rate both as excellent. Keep up the good work.

This rifle is everything I was hoping it would be and more. Going by some of the other reviews I was a little worried about the stock and thought I would have to get a better stock right away. After holding it and getting on the range with it, I find it's not to bad. It's got a better feel to it than the standard synthetic stocks and I don't find it as flimsy as some people make it out to be. I may eventually get a bell & carlson M40 stock but the Hogue it came with is fine for now. Rifle shoots like a dream, nice groups, and doesn't kick to hard at all because of the heavy barrel. The trigger seems fine. I have not adjusted it but may play around with it next time I go to the range. Probably replace it eventually too, but just like the stock, they are both better than I expected after reading some other reviews. Its a fine rifle right out of the box and when you're ready you can customize things as time and money permit.

I purchased the rifle with the 90 day lay away plan and when I made the last payment Buds had the gun at my locale FFL in 3 days. Rifle was in perfect condition and the entire transaction from start to finish went without a hitch or snag. It was a pleasure doing business with Buds and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

As of this writing, it's been 2 days since I was at the range and can't wait to go back. This rifle really is nice to shoot.

It took me two years to put this gun together (suppressor, scope, bipod, etc.). Very accurate for a novice shooter at 100 yards. Very light kick thanks to the recoil pad. The stock itself has a nice feel and color to it. Nice trigger feel as well. My only complaint: the bolt does not seem to push the next round into the chamber well, so I simply feed each round through the top, individually. Still, I'm happy with my purchase. I highly recommend Bud's Gun Shop.

Very accurate rifle, the stock is junk and feels like a wet noodle, swapped mine out for an MDT and id say its the most accurate rifle ive shot, bolt action is smooth, would recommend this rifle. Buds shipping was good and the gun was 100%.

The rifle came in with the finish scratched all the way down the length of the barrel. Scratched as the finish was removed and bare white metal showing on the worst place of all ON THE TOP. OK so I have to rub cold blue on it or paint it.

Trigger_ OK, not bad not good. Get a Timeny and you will be very happy.

Stock_ terrible replace it. It is weak and flimsy. If you support the barrel via a bi pod it will no longer be free floating. tired to pass a dollar under it while on a bi pod and dollar got stuck right away.

very surprised it left the shop with the finish so jacked up, this is my 1st remington, hope it at least shoots well.
