How does layaway work for this colt?

layaway is 90 days and is as easy as 1,2,3 Add the item to your cart, Select Checkout, Select your FFL, Checkout option "Layaway", than checkout method for the 20% down payment, Once down payment is made your layaway is complete. Within that 90 day period you can pay when you wish . Remember check/e-check/Money Order or ACH Bank Draft gets the cash price. Credit/Debit Cards add 3%

SERIES 80™ FIRING SYSTEM

The Colt 1991 Series is a direct descendant of the original Colt M1911. A long trigger, flat mainspring housing and original style recoil spring system remain from the original M1911 design. Upgrades from the original include white dot sights and a lowered ejection port for extra reliability. It still remains “the standard” that everyone tries to imitate, but no one duplicates.

Fantastic shooter!!! Cannot say enough great things about this gun, it is one of my favorites in a collection that includes weapons from every manufacturer out there. This one goes to the range every time I go no matter what I am shooting. Dead accurate at any range and with any Colt super easy to clean and maintain. My goodness how the prices have risen, but it is still worth it.

Pleased to say this firearm shows what an outstanding product Colt can put out. Fit and finish are top notch, initial 200 rounds first time out, 0 malfunctions, and tighter groups than I’m capable of, and a pretty good stock trigger. And best of all it looks so pretty on display in the safe. I’ve been known to flip guns after I tire of them, though I have a feeling this one will be around for a long long time. I highly recommend this Colt Custom.

I have received the two guns and I am very pleased with them. Beautiful high polished mirror like finish and smooth action. As Yogi Berra would say it is Deja Vue all over again, I have purchased two of them back in 2008, under the code name ELCEN at that time. The only thing spoiling my Deja Vue that at that time I paid only $940 for each. This is a considerable 50% price increase. Nevertheless I love these guns, and decided buying them contrary to my feelings about the inflated prices. These are beautiful guns to enjoy them every day, and the price I had to pay only once...

Absolutely beautiful pistol and just what you would expect from Colt. Haven't fired it yet(and probably won't for some time) but I'm sure it is accurate. The slide to frame fit is very tight and it operates quite well. I did not know what a .38 super was when I made the purchase and now that I do it is not one of my favorite rounds. Seems kinda small but that may be in part due to my afinety to the Colt .45. I would highly reccoment this to anyone looking for a fine piece of equpiment and good luck finding one. Price seems a little high but you normally get what you pay for and in this case I'm not complaining.

Maybe the most attractive gun I have ever owned, it's so pretty you don'twant to get it dirty but do because it shoots better thanit looks. iIt's a Colt and livesup tothename and reputation. Super smooth trigger, accurate, shoots any ammo, just what you would expect. My only bi*** is Colt doesn't put a fully adjustable rear sight on all theior guns. You need to buy a Gold Cup and up to get one. Great gun
