I'm not a 1911 expert but this one is awesome! Tight lockup gorgeous finish excellent quality all around. Only gripes; It comes with one blued magazine an act-mag brand which is on the cheaper lower quality side but it functions fine the mag release button scratches the finish of the magazine when u load it.

Ordered on a Monday night and it was at my FFL dealer on Wednesday! Gun is gorgeous. Act mag is junk, wont feed past 6 rounds...will be buying a different mag.

I just got this AC45G2C Metro pistol. My gunsmith and I agreed that it is one of the nicest .45's we've ever seen out of the box. Tight action (almost airtight), smooth slide draw, perfect 4 ib. pull from the Series 70 style slide, excellent unblemished finish, and a nice box with room for several more mags (at least four maybe five). I ordered this after reading countless reviews praising the product and Metro's whole line. I was not disappointed. You won't be either. Try one, you'll like it. BTW, the AC45G2C comes with a white dot solid black dovetailed front sight, not a red filament. I'm going to go back later this summer for a blued pistol also. This feels like what a C (four letter word) National Match pistol should feel like. Only better.

First time to order here and I say it’s the best of the best customer service ever. I place my order Tuesday and my FFL called me that my stuff arrived already by Thursday, about this American Classic II 1911 my third 1911 is the best one for the money!! Bring it to the range and put 350 rounds using the mag that came with it and a mag of Remington and Springfield to it works flawlessly, so accurate, the finish, the performance is comparable to those pricey 1911 out there, Looking to get another one of this in different finish. Will recommend this one, worth the $

    This 1911, Brayden, has a Novak-style rear sight with a dovetail front sight. They are "drift adjustable". This one is a good solid government size 1911, steel frame and slide, crafted in the Philippines,where some really good 1911s are being produced. I have it's 'cousin' (The Bobcut) and it has been a solid, good shooting, reliable 1911.
