The Syntech Defense provides dynamic terminal performance with a hollow-point bullet that separates into three segments and a deep-penetrating core on impact. The core penetrates 12 to 18 inches through bare ballistics gel and heavy clothing a critical benchmark in self-defense situations and the best terminal performance of any round in its class. The petals create three secondary wound channels, each more than 6 inches deep, adding to the terminal effect. Like all Syntech loads, an advanced polymer jacket eliminates lead and copper fouling and drastically reduces damaging heat and friction in the barrel. Its Federal exclusive Catalyst primer provides hot, extremely reliable ignition without the use of lead.

I have put a few hundred of these through my P365 as well as my glock. No problems. They do seem to shoot clean. I use these in my edc. Good ammo.

I really enjoy shooting these. So much so they are now in 2 of my EDC pistols I rotate. They seem to hit the targets with a little more oomph than other Hollow points I've shot.

My order was filled quickly and arrived 2 days later, which was amazing. I have put 50 rounds down range and they shoot great. To my surprise my pistol was hardly dirty.

I like everything about Syntech ammo. Basically, it's the only ammo I use in my Glocks. The Syntech hollow points have the same performance the other Syntech ammo has. It keeps the barrel clean without producing unnecessary wear on the barrel, and it doesn't make a lot of smoke or flash. I recommend it.

I have been looking for this ammo for a while. Runs through my glock just fine, only gun I've tested it in so far. If it runs through my other 9s, I'll pick up more of it.

I used Syntech Range ammo (115 and 124 in 9mm) in all of my guns and was glad Federal started offering carry ammo with the Syntech Defense line. These 50-round boxes work well in that I can test a few rounds out and still have enough to fill at least two mags (primary and secondary). It is clean-burning like the range ammo, with no noticeable difference in recoil. I do feel like they run as clean as advertised - a big plus whether I’m shooting with a 3” or 5.1” barrel. Bud’s service was great as usual, and the price was outstanding! My wife like these so much, I had to get her a box for Mother’s Day!

Nobody wants to admit that they want good self defense ammo... That's fair priced. Yes I tell people "is your life not worth a little extra". But I feel like some companies take advantage of people wanting to have good well designed defense ammo. The old school guys would call these "Lipstick Rounds" and they do stand out. But they feed and function well. I desperately want a +P rated round. But if you watch the office FBI protocol test video that sold me. It's a reasonable priced round that performs. It's now my official defense for all my 9s.
