Taurus Model 82 Deep Blue NO Security 38 Special Revolver - 6 Rounds, 4" Barrel

This is another example of a quality product by Tauras.I have owned no less than 5 with a sixth on the way. Whether it is the Judge, Raging Bull, M327, M85 , or M82 that we are talking about I have never had a mechanical or finish issue with any of them. I also own a wide range of other makes ,Smith & Wesson ,Colt, Magnum Research, etc. So I am familiar with quality weapons. Some of Tauras guns may not have the same fit or finish as these higher end guns do but your paying in most cases only 1/2 to 1/3 the price for a well built fun gun to shoot. It's a no-brainer to me, I'll keep buying them and not break the bank doing it.

I've owned several revolvers in the past but never purchased a Taurus before. I wanted a 38 special for target practice. I've used several brands of 38Sp. and had no issues whatsoever. This revolver is very accurate. I really like the grips and weight of this gun. The only negative I can think of regarding this weapon is the revolver shown in the picture is not the one I received as another reviewer stated as well. It doesn't have the full underlug as the one shown in the picture. It's no big deal for me. I've bought many guns from Bud's in the past and as always the service is great. For $335.00 you get a solid revolver and gun case as well with a speedloader thrown in. As with all revolvers trigger pull in SA is minimal compared to DA. Overall I'm completely satisfied with this revolver.

The NT suffix is for 'no Taurus security system' which means no lock on hammer base. Serial no. is from 2016 so not a case of older models w/o lock. Bud's picture shows full underlug shrouding the ejection rod which is NOT the style on this one which has the smaller partial underlug protecting the end of the ejector. No large Taurus logo on side of barrel which I consider a plus. Serial No. on Rhs of barrel and the caliber stamp is on underside towards tip of barrel. 38 spcl but is not marked +P which these are rated for (per Taurus). Very nice blue (black) finish, good value at 60% price of S&W model 10
