I love it! stsrted out using Hornady Critical Defense and have not used anything else it functions so good. Have shot 100 rounds with zero malfunctions.

What you would expect with a 1911 type semi auto. Very heavy but accurate when fired and seems to be reliable.

Loud! Strange platform! Great sights and a hoot to shoot! Dead money from 10-20 yards. Pricey but make payments on it. That's as honest as I have!

I think the XT Magnum is fun to shoot and very accurate right out of the box. I am disappointed in Rock Island for the poor owner's manual and for failing to mention the 2 very small parts that can easily be lost when you clean the pistol. The parts are just behind the barrel, don't know what they are called and don't know what they do. The slide lock is challenging to replace after cleaning, but doable. Nickel-plated ammunition is somewhat challenging to find but worth the effort because the pistol will fail to eject on brass. I don't think the XT was released to the market too early, more design / manufacturing work is needed. Still, very fun to shoot.

Highest quality 22 magnum semi automatic handgun on the market. Made with real steel instead of plastic and runs like a sewing machine. Accurate would be an understatement to describe this pistol.

I purchased two of these for target and varmint shooting. Takedown is very simple,cleaned,oiled and racked the slide hundreds of times before shooting. Worked perfectly,with CCI,Federal,Winchester,30,40,50grain ammunition. Better looking than the other 22 magnum semi autos available. One magazine from the factory is the only thing not to like about this pistol. Buds had OEM magazines. Love this pistol ! Wife also loves this pistol !

At first when I received and went out to the range I started shooting my Rock Island XT Mag. I was having jamming problems constantly. Vary frustrating !! This was still jamming after 500 hundred rounds of various manufacturers for the 22-mag. Was not a happy Camper yet so I contacted the Rock Island customer service and sent my Postal back for them to see what the problem was. This was sent back to them 3 times. I guess the 3rd time was a charm because before they sent the postal back they actually sent an email video of what they did to my Postal and showed me on the video that it was shooting like it should be. Well the other day I finally went out and shot it and I was vary happy with it . NO jamming at all . So you could say that the customer service was excellent and the 3rd time was a charm for me. There for I am a happy Camper. Thanks Rock Island for your concern and repairing my RIA XT 22 MAG.

Nice pistol quite accurate I did have a couple fail to ejects but cleaned and put another magazine through and no problems

This is an excellent pistol , pretty darn accurate and just an absolute joy to shoot, only issues I've had are some failures to extract when the pistol gets really dirty but other then that it's a fantastic 22 magnum pistol
