it will cycle most 2 3/4 inch shells it may not cycle with "light" target loads

It's chambered for 3" so it will absolutely shoot the smaller 2-3/4" shells. I looked and could not find a tube extension for this model.

Jason, I believe you are posting the laws for Cook County. The new Illinois state law would override that. It clearly sates "A semiautomatic shotgun that has one or more of the following: i. a pistol grip or thumbhole stock". - It makes no mention of saying a pistol grip attached to a stock is ok.

Again, by this below, my understanding is that if it is a "Stand Alone" pistol grip or One with say an adjustable stock then those types of Semi-Auto shotguns are Prohibited. Not this model though as the stock is fixed with the pistol grip. Prohibited: a semiautomatic shotgun that has one or more of the following: Only a pistol grip without a stock attached; Any feature capable of functioning as a protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand; A folding, telescoping, or thumbhole stock; A fixed magazine capacity in excess of five rounds

This shotgun has a tubular magazine restricted to 5 rounds. The proper 7rnd tube can be swapped in. MAC claims a 98 percent parts compatibility with Benelli M4's, with only a few small trigger components being different. Therefore most parts will carry over.

When I received it I did a brief cleanup, lubed it. Took it to the range and fire 25 rounds of 1325 oo buck as quickly as I could and it did not have a single problem. The recoil was not as bad as I expected. Didn't even have a sore shoulder. This a very impressive gun, a best buy.

I've always wanted a Benelli M4 but was never quite ready to pony up the 2K. I decided to give the MAC 1014 a try as I've read a lot of good things about it. Upon unboxing I was very impressed with the fit, finish and overall build quality. It definitely exceeded my expectations given the price point. I've only shot it a few times so far but I think this one is going to be a winner.

This shotgun, MAC 1014, is one that I’d been watching and watching videos on for a while. Bud’s had the best price I’d found so I “pulled the trigger”. I could not be more happy with it. I’m still in the break in period as work interfered with my shooting time but as of right now I’m 50 rds in without a malfunction at all. If you’re thinking about it do yourself a favor and just do it. Thank You Buds for the fantastic price and really fast shipping Witch doctor Three Zero out

So when I picked this gun up from the ffl I took it apart there to check for any issues with parts and everything looked fine at the ffl so when I got it home I completely disassembled the and cleaned everything really well. I went the extra step and demurred the inside of the reciever with some really fine grit sand paper just to take away any rough machine marks ans only on the wear surfaces as well as on the bolts. Cleaned and lubricated and shot 100 round of federal walmart birdshot the cheap stuff without a single malfunction ans since then about 450 rounds in total ans she still runs zero problems. I love that this gun shoots the low brass birdshot because it's a lot of fun for plinking

I just bought the MAC 1014 from Buds. The price was great and much lower than another online competitor. The shipping and delivery went very smoothly. First time at the range with the shotgun also went great with very consistent performance shooting 00 buckshot. Bought this firearm as part of my home defense setup and am extremely pleased with the overall build, feel of the gun and initial performance.
