The modern SIG SAUER® pistol story began with the P220®. In 1976 the .45 ACP P220 was introduced and quickly became recognized as one of "the most accurate 45s right out of the box." Since that time the P220 has earned an enviable record in hot spots around the world. The P220 features a stainless steel slide machined from barstock and coated with a durable, wear-resistant Nitron® finish, light-weight alloy frame with integral accessory rail, and the SIG SAUER® four-point safety system of decocking lever, patented automatic firing pin safety block, safety intercept notch, and trigger bar disconnector.

First off let me say, Trust Buds they has been Great to work with. I have bought from other sites and received dirty guns, literary Dirty guns. Buds has great prices and great service. My Sig 220 45 has been a awesome gun, no complaints. Hundreds of rounds put through it and never a hic-up. Fast shipping, Have and Will by from Buds again.

I love this sig P226. Its my standard shooting gun. I have shot well over 20k rounds through the gun with little to no hick-ups. Buds was also great in support of purchase/shipping to FFL.

This gun was a good refurb. German made parts, older rolled slide. Shot okay. Nothing too exciting.

The pistol came in the familiar red Sig Sauer certified pre-owned box and, upon inspection, looked barely used. From my understanding the CPO Sig firearms go through a thorough inspection before they're shipped out. So, picking it up and noticing that it looks pretty much new was still a pleasant surprise. Two mags came in the box and was packaged very well. Have yet to get it out to the range but if it is anything like my previous experience with Sig firearms, it should be good to go.

Bud's team, as usual, hit another home run! The entire process was flawless. The pistol arrived on time. I inspected the pistol and while this is labeled as a "LE Trade-in" and "Certified Pre-Owned," you could never tell.Sig's refurbishing technician did an awesome job as my pistol showed very little wear (a tiny spot on the left side showed holster wear). Everything else appeared to be factory new - except the grips. The grips that came with the pistol are not the new Sig grips. So what. If this pistol was, in fact, a LE trade, I know from experience most LEO only fire their duty weapons when they have to for annual qualifications. My pistol was not fired that much in its life. I did some research and my pistol is a true German, not a hybrid. Mine is stamped "KE" on the chin (underside of barrel shroud) and research shows this was made in 1994, Other proof marks support the full German lineage. The pistol performed as advertised. The bore is a little higher (axis) than my 1911s, but this was overcome with a lot of dry firing and range time. It eats everything I've fed it (hardcast lead, JPP, FMJ and FP without any issues. I have not fired any +P loads - never did for my 1911s either. I highly recommend Bud's and highly recommend the LE trades from Sig. The Sig P220 is my new EDC and it works well IWB with the right holster. OWB will be limited (for now) to IDPA shoots.

Received at FFL in Maryland today. CPO Sig P220 looks great and like new with 2 magazines. This one I have has no rail so somewhat disappointed in that. Can't wait to shoot this pistol as feels nice with weight and trigger pull very crisp. Waited awhile to buy a Sig...Very happy! Thanks Budsgunshop.

Typical Sig Sauer quality. Great self defense gun. Shoots great, smooth D/A trigger. No FTE and cycles all ammo perfectly.

My CPO P220 is blued West German and otherwise similar to the previous review. But mine has nickel magazine release, grip screws, slide release, decocker and hammer. These 220 CPO represent a real value. I'm happy with the purchase.

I just received my P220 CPO and I am very happy with it. The P220 is made in W. Germany (mark on slide) and made of carbon steel slide with internal ejector. I believe parts are made in Germany and assembled in the USA, since there i sno proof marks. Fit and finish are excellent and it is as tight if not tighter than my new P220 carry SAS. My FFL dealer who happened to be a Sig armorer commented that based on barrel, slide & frame marks, probably around 100-150 rounds. It looks hardly use. The grips and springs are new. It came with 2 Sig 8 round magazines that looks really clean. This particular gun is well balanced, nicer to handle than my P226 but less than my 1911. Overall I am happy about the built quality of this P220. I like this more since there is no rail and looks like my P220 Carry SAS. The built date according to SIG customer service, Aug. 15, 2007. I wish my SIG P226 CPO is like this.
