I Love this little gun!
The gun I received has a smooth double-action trigger pull that stacks nicely and breaks clean at the end. The single-action pull is light and crisp, as good or better than my K-Frame that's had thousands of rounds through it. The Fit and Finish are classic S&W.
The gun gives up a little concealability to the slab-sided 380 autos because of the cylinder bulge, but in an IWB tucakable holster it disappears anyway. You soon forget you have it on. I have large hands but the abreviated grips seem just the right for a firm, controlled grip but still remaining concealable.
The sights are small but very effective and the gun is Very accurate. Putting a small dot of flourescent red paint on the front sight makes the sights even more usable.
With the exposed hammer for easy single-action along with the fact it's a revolver and not finicky about a variety of ammo it doubles as a Great 'Kit-Gun' for fishing, hiking, and general outdoor activities in addition to 'social work'. I have a small 380 auto for certain occasions but this gun has become my everyday goto carry.
At under $400 it is a huge value.

Buds of course shipped fast the day after my payment was received. My FFL made it a very painless transaction as always. The is sure a nice little honey of a wheel gun! Absolutely perfect for concealed carry or as a back up for your main sidearm. 38 Special loads are definitely nothing to laugh at, much more pop than 9mm or 40, the recoil is more like a .45 especially in a little snubbie like this beauty. I of course will continue to purchase many, many more firearms from Buds, I absolutely love taking advantage of our 2nd amendment rights as often as possible and so should you!...Thanks again Buds

built like a classic smith. the negative reviews made me a bit learry, but the one I recieved is top notch. excellent fit and finish. 300 rounds of various ammo led me to the following conclusions, deadly accurate up to 25 yards (single action), and +p's will sting your hand. Practice makes perfect. Buds provided top notch service

very nice revolver! i must say that the gun looks much better in person than the pictures lead you to believe and it shoots like a dream. this was my first revolver and now ive got wheel gun fever. i want a .44 mag now lol. i do wish however that i had opted for the hammerless 642 model instead but its no big deal.
