I’ve been increasingly impressed with Taurus guns. They are a good value for a solid gun. Not a S&W but for the price it’s a win. A little stiff at first but with a little work (the part I really enjoy) become a good working gun for your collection.

Seems to be a decent little gun. Being all steel it’s a bit heavier than an aluminum frame gun but thats to be expected. One the other hand that weight tames the recoil a lot. Grips are pretty good. Gun shoots fine with both 32 Long and 327 magnum. Fits most holsters for a J-Frame. Trigger is pretty good also. Not a bad buy at all I don’t believe.

I have not given up yet, but definitely learned a lesson. I shoot mostly reloads and will never use my reloads until I find out if the gun works first. The cylinder is not lining up correctly with the forcing cone. As the bullet leaves the cylinder and enters the forcing cone it was shaving lead at the top of the forcing cone, so it is not a timing issue. I believe the cylinders are not cut correctly. So every shot it is spitting lead back into my face.

This is a nice little gun. I can shoot 5 calibers with it - 32acp, 32S&W short, 32 S&W long, 32 H&R mag., and 327 Federal mag. I haven’t tried 32acp yet but the others give a nice range of power. The short is like shooting a 22 while the 327 is almost like shooting a 357 mag. only less recoil. This is a great gun to take to the range with a girlfriend or new shooter, as you can work your way up to more powerful calibers depending on their comfort level. I already owned a Taurus 605 (357 mag.) so I knew what to expect from Taurus. Pretty much the same gun in different calibers. The one downfall is ammo availability and price but if your a reloaded this will actually be cheap to shoot as your powder will go a long way.

I really like this revolver. I was very impressed with the Gun Sam _Revolver Aficionado_ YouTube channel videos on the 32 family revolver rounds. I already have an 856, so the gun works the same with less recoil.

The exact wheel gun that I was looking for. Great price, fast service and professional from start to pick up. Buds rocks.

I wasn’t expecting much from this but was pleasantly surprised. The fit and finish are commensurate with the price point but better than I expected. The trigger action is a bit glitchy but the gun functions well. Using Federal 85 gr 327 Federal Magnum, recoil was more than manageable. With Buffalo Bore 100 gr 32 H&R though, recoil was surprisingly stout. I appreciated the rubbery plastic grips at that point. Taurus quality is hit or miss but this particular gun seems to be OK. My only complaint remains the hitchy double action trigger. The pull weight is pretty stiff as well.

I purchased a Taurus .327 Federal Magnum - a sweet little carry piece that shoots various .32 cal ammo. The ballistics on the .327 mag are lethal, but one may practice with less expensive rounds. The online purchase went smoothly and the person who followed up from Bud's (due to an error on my part) was professional and knowledgeable. The revolver was delivered to my designated FFL quickly - only took a few days in spite of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Great price/excellent service!

I have a fondness for .327 firearms as they are backward compatible with almost all earlier ".32" loads, sometimes even .32 acp. So the Taurus .327 availablity notice didn't take me long to decide. As is common with many Taurus revolvers, it's not super refined, but it appears to be solid and made well. The action is smooth, the cylinder isn't rough, and while not an air weight, it's still a modest heft that would work well for concealed. I fired off .327 Federal Magnum 100 grain loads and enjoyed the solid but manageable recoil. With .32 H&R Magnum and .32 Long, the recoil was barely noticeable. I've been out of practice for a while, but I could still keep all six rounds within a 7 inch circle at 7 yards. It seems to shoot to point of aim, I just have to aim better. I tried loading .32 acp, and it might actually fire them, but when I tried the ejector, it didn't pick up the casings, so I stayed with just .32 Long, .32 H&R and .327. I also learned that the HKS-J speedloader works just fine for this revolver - that was a great plus. Happy with the firearm, and Bud's shipped quickly.
