This is a very nice, single action gun, mine is .357mag./.38spcl. Shoots very well, looks great, and feels comfortable in my hand. I have always been a fan of the old west style weapons. as I have a few six shooters, and a few lever action rifles. My semi autos are good, with no complaints, but the levers and single actions are fun. Very satisfied with the EAA .357.

This gun is built on the .44 magnum frame. It's built like a tank. It will handle any load you want to put through it. The springs are fairly stiff, so I replaced them with a set of Wolf's medium competitionColt SAA springs. The finish is beautiful.

The reason I bought this gun was the great reviews from Mike Beliveau from "Guns of the Old West." It's a German-made quality revolver. It's solidly built! There is nothing cheap or flimsy about this gun. It's got some heft. It handles like most any Colt Single Action Army clone I've ever handled, but is more closely related in design to a Ruger Vaquero than anything else. It has a transfer bar safety, which Colt purists won't like; but, for those of us who just want a rugged, hard-hitting revolver for wandering around the woods or packing while hunting; that added safety feature comes in handy. Unlike a Colt Single Action Army clone, this gun can load all six chambers due to the transfer bar safety. The one piece American walnut grips aren't the most attractive in the world, but they are solid and they are functional. That's actually how I'd describe this gun in general: solid and functional. If you want a single action revolver, but you don't want to break the bank, check out the EAA Bounty Hunter. And take a look at Mike Beliveau's video reviews (duelist1954 on YouTube). as usual buds is great,, already had the 22 mag now I have the 357 also love the finish on these guns, they shoot great and are a lot of fun to shoot, I have had NO PROBLEMS with either one look forward to getting the 44 mag next .!!!!!!!!

I Bought two of these guns and had problems with both. The warranty service requires that you pay for shipping to EAA and then send them another $20 for return shipping. I'll just take the firearms to my gunsmith and screw their warranty. The cheaper price you pay for these guns will be made up in repair work. Ruger is a better choice and better warranty.
