This is the best pistol I have ever owned. Fantastic out of the box

My EA 600340 Witness Elite Limited in .45 ACP came in flawless condition. The slide reads LIMITED CUSTOM. Beautiful gun. The slide runs smooth as silk. I intended to change to the thinner aluminum grips before the purchase as I had done on my Witness Match 10MM. This piece though fits my hands seemingly better. I think it is because of the larger mag well. I have totally average size hands, not large, not small. I can grip well with my off hand quite adequately. The pre drilled and tapped holes in the frame worked great for the thumb rest. I had to find shorter screws at the hardware store since I did not choose to use any optics which would have required one more thickness of aluminum bracket material against the frame. Accuracy is really good and its is easy to shoot well with it. It makes me look good. I load my own and I choose mid to lower end of the data for most of my needs, although I have run top end data loads and mid range as well so I get to change the feel of the gun when the mood strikes me. I have around 1000 rounds through it now and am highly satisfied. Mine will even run 200gr SWC if I lead off with a 230gr FMJ. Back to accuracy: I seem to get better results with the faster lighter bullets than the slower heavier mid range bullets, unless I drop all the way down to slowest data 230gr FMJ loads, then its right on again. Could be just me. The conned barrel itself reduces recoil considerably. The sights were right on, no adjustments necessary. I did not change to the included fiber-optic sight. I have not shot competitively. I'm 75. I bought this pistol as an additional .45 ACP just to have a really nice pistol to enjoy handling and have fun shooting.

Hard to believe the quality of this gun for the price. This is an excellent shooting gun, great groups at 25 yards. Buds had the best price also!

Beautiful pistol, excellent fit and finish. Shoots like a laser! Ordered on a Sun, received at FFL the following Fri. Bought using "Make Offer" and saved a some $$$ off an already low price. The Tanfoglios are the best kept secret going. Trigger was 3 lb,11 oz out of the box but shoots much lighter. Mags are easy and cheap but you must add a base pad to clear the mag well. This doubles the cost per mag but can increase capacity. Planning on adding an optic so the predrilled frame makes it easy! Who else does this? No one that I know of. Happy with price and delivery.

Delivery only took two days. A pleasent suprise. Gun is beautiful. I shot 100 rounds with 100% function. It came with two extra recoil springs of different weights and a fiber optic sight in the box. Only drawback is I must purchase special mag bases for additional magazines.
