In Louisiana we can use 45/70 for deer hunting. This rifle is perfect for our deer. One shot dead on perfect kill every time.

Sweet rifle..very manageable recoil. Perfect match for 1-4 Nikon Monarch African.. Shoots 350 gr Interlocks to .9 inches at 100 yards.. Will be a perfect tree stand rifle this deer season..

I bought this gun last year just before deer season.In Mississippi you can use it during primitive weapons which I did. The best part of this was I killed two deer with it and I didn't have a single misfire. Love this gun for those 100 yard or less shots. It really packs osme knock down power. Old school baby...old school....
