This did not fit my Model 234 Bolt action Savage rifle. That's my fault. You have to learn before you buy. And buy exactly the right mag. If you do not see your rifles exact Model number in the description, do not buy it. Those two ears at the back of the top of the mag identify this as a newer mag. LOL. I tried to grind those ears off with a grinder and make the mag work but it was hilariously unreliable. Trashed IT! I did find a ten round mag for a Model 234 elsewhere online and even though it was a Savage mag ,the ten rounder hangs up a bullet on the fifth round. I'll have to take it apart, clean it and if it makes me mad enough, sell this bolt action Savage and buy another brand rifle. But the stock five round mag is money and maybe this little old bolt action just likes five rounds. I have a scope on this rifle so I don't spray fire anywhere. This rifle is accurate as all get out. Five is good enough for small game and target shooting. Plus, some of the old 22 Long Rifle bolt actions are incredibly well made. I might start a bolt action 22 long rifle collection.

Prompt delivery, great communication, everything tested at the range and functional. No wonder Hickock45 speaks so well of this business.

Though not as reliable as a 10-22 mag (especially when full of rounds) it works good if if the gun is cycled slowly and deliberately.

A:Erick, no, this will not fit the Savage 64. You will need the following magazine : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/22591/Savage+60+Series+Rimfire+.22+lr+10+rnd+MagazineSee 3 more answers | -

A:Yes Sir. The Savage MKII Magazine is a standard replacement magazine for .22 Long Rifle and .17 Mach II. ****Note**** The 17 Rimfire's are just necked down 22 Cases so the dimensions that sit in the magazine are the exact same.See 3 more answers |
